Ingredients
MEDICINAL INGREDIENT: Each effervescent tablet, when dissolved in water supplies 25 mEq of elemental potassium (975 mg) as potassium citrate.
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Dextrose, Saccharin Sodium, FD&C Yellow #6, Blood Orange Flavour, Mineral Oil, Talc, and Docusate Sodium.
RECOMMENDED USE OR PURPOSE: Oral potassium supplement for the therapy or prophylaxis of potassium deficiency. Especially useful for routine use with thiazide diuretics or corticosteroid hormones to replace excessive potassium losses.
RECOMMENDED DOSE: Adults: One (1) tablet dissolved in 3 to 4 ounces (85-115mL) of cold or ice water 2 to 4 times daily or as directed by physician.
